Coaches, teachers, healers etc abound in this new millennium. Many have a special message to save you from yourself and to save the world from itself. Let's find an empowering perspective about all this stuff.
Q: Is this a good thing or bad thing? A: Neither.
Q: Are they right or wrong for doing this? A: Neither.
Q: Do any of these people really have your answer? A: No.
Q: Do I, Nash, really have your answer? A: No.
Q: Is all this talk, this chatting, the discussions, the groups, the classes, the seminars, the podcasts, radio shows, tv shows, and books even necessary to show you your answer? A: No.
Q: Wait just a darn minute Nash, if these folks don't have the answer and you don't, then who does? A: You.
Let's go back to the facts from How To Be Right About Everything.
1. Each person has exactly what they need to learn universal truth through universal experience. This means that they 'need' do nothing - it, their opportunities for personal growth, are right in front of them every instant. Recognizing this is empowering.
Hint: How To Be Right About Everything will provoke the identification and release of your current ego-blockages to having that Universal experience.
2. As for teaching, it is the same act as learning, and it is constant. In other words, everyone is teaching and learning at all times - the acts are not distinct nor do they truly exist apart from each other along a linear version of time. Time itself is a distortion that makes teaching and learning seem like separate acts. So, an easy way to see anyone out there purporting to teach, heal or coach you is that they are explaining, demonstrating, and teaching what they want to learn about themselves for their own personal healing.
Example: An orthopedic surgeon may see the world of skeletal and muscular anatomy. Your way and their way of seeing may have to merge if you break your ankle. The surgeon will teach/learn healing with you as they see/understand their self and you. What they teach/learn and what you teach/learn is limited/contained by the seeing you share. To understand this, remember that Now is a fact, but the past and future are merely choices. So, if you are with that surgeon, the experience is not defined or bound by time, rather how you both see yourselves and the other. Since you cannot know or control how the surgeon sees you, the unfolding experience is contained, from your perspective, by how you see yourself and others. This is why YOU are the ultimate teacher/healer/coach of you. By distinguishing between Facts and Choices, your self can teach you who you are.
3. Each person is equal. You are, therefore, surrounded by your equals. If you are surrounded by your equals, how can anyone really be your teacher? They cannot in reality. In fiction, all sorts of relationships seem possible. But, you want to live in reality so let's stick with what that's about. What these so called 'teachers' and 'healers' and 'life coaches, 'soul coaches' etc do is share their version of their awareness of universal truth. You may or may not see yourself defined in their version or even their way to get there. And, it is possible that they haven't gotten anywhere but sound really clever and interesting. None of this is good, bad, right, nor wrong. But, it does point you to your own answer to the questions of how to save yourself and the world. The answer is: you are personally responsible for your own healing or awakening. Nobody can heal you. Nobody can wake you up. You can heal and awaken yourself and you must have this universal experience - healing yourself - to find your path.
Q: But how will I find this path? A: I suggest you learn to distinguish Facts from Choices and believe only Facts. Three of the Facts are listed above.
Q: If I find my path, must I share it with the world? A: No. There is no world outside of your thoughts about you and everything/everyone else. Awakening is about what you think, not what you do. Some people like healers, teachers, coaches feel they must and that's neither good, bad, right, nor wrong. Don't worry about it. Just remember, each person is sharing what works for them or what they'd like to work for them. You find what works for you, and remember that, in every instant, you are providing yourself with your personal answer; believing that will enable you to recognize your own answer.
Hint: When you find 'it' - your way - you will naturally be happy and peaceful. You may discover that finding it is more about identifying and releasing what's actually blocking you from experiencing what is already here. And, once again, How To Be Right About Everything will provoke you into awareness of what is already here.
